Good article in the Globe and Mail yesterday about food storage.
It makes me happy I have a basement that gets down to 60F in the winter. If I had the backyard, and access to a backhoe, I’d dig myself a fancy stand alone cellar. It could double as a fallout shelter, in case the 1950s return.
Until then, I’ll be content with my little shelf of preserves. I keep it under the stairs, which KEL and I nicknamed “The Bomb Shelter.”
